ArisGlobal Enables Mid-tier Biotechnology Company to Triage Inbound Adverse Event Reports
A mid-tier biotech company was inundated with adverse event/ADR reports arriving via many channels and formats, and lacked a system to collect, organize, triage and archive them -- it used Oracle Argus for safety processing but had no triage layer, forcing slow, error-prone, hard-to-audit manual handling via spreadsheets or paper. ArisGlobal integrated its Inbound Receipt and Triage (IRT) tool with Argus, automatically converting incoming reports (email, calls, faxes) into source documents, running duplicate searches, showing case summaries, and standardizing data entry before submission to Argus. This gave the company automated duplicate checks, documented triage decisions, a searchable/exportable correspondence log, and a complete audit trail; the company planned to further expand with a call-center form and an upgrade to ArisGlobal's next-generation triage tool, agTracker. No quantitative metrics are given.
