Creating Valid, Complete, and Accurate Standardized Data from 2.5M Unique Patient Records: RAMBAM | MDClone
Rambam Health Care Campus, a 1,000-bed Haifa teaching hospital with 2.5 million unique patient records and 25 million visits, faced IRB delays and IT-dependency bottlenecks that could take months to resolve. In 2017 it became the first health system globally to implement MDClone's platform, converting personal data into synthetic data researchers could query independently. Five initial studies confirmed the synthetic data closely matched real-data results, compressing research timelines from months to hours; Dr. Shay Perek said "What I really enjoy about MDClone is the very simple and intuitive platform. It's very easy to understand."
MDClone is a healthcare synthetic-data platform that converts real EHR data into privacy-safe synthetic datasets for self-service research and analytics.
