League cuts product development cycle times in half with Claude

League, a healthcare consumer-experience platform for health plans and providers, had AI tools in place but adoption was limited to isolated gains, with security reviews for new tools backed up roughly three weeks. After rolling out Claude Enterprise company-wide, League built a Claude Code-based "swarm orchestration" tool for autonomous overnight coding, an automated security-assessment skill, and a pull-request triage bot, and automated 60+ finance processes. Development cycle time (idea to pull request) was cut in half, adoption reached 98% (up from about 80% at rollout), AI-authored code rose from about 70% to 98%, security reviews dropped from multiple weeks to 15 minutes (49 of 53 assessments validated as safe by Claude), and engineers merged 2-3x more pull requests per week, with one customer implementation delivered two months ahead of schedule.

Anthropic builds the Claude model family, including a dedicated Claude for Life Sciences push used across drug discovery, regulatory writing and clinical documentation.
