Worldwide Clinical Trials and Medidata Announce Strategic Partnership to Embed Medidata AI Across the Full Trial Lifecycle, Bolstering Study Execution and Delivery Excellence
Worldwide Clinical Trials and Medidata announced an expanded partnership making Worldwide the first CRO to implement Medidata Plus, giving it enterprise-level AI access across Medidata's Study, Data, and Patient Experiences. The collaboration uses Dot, Medidata's AI virtual companion, to streamline workflows from protocol design through study closeout. Worldwide's CEO is quoted saying the integration gives teams 'better connectivity, clearer data, and the ability to make confident decisions faster.' The announcement frames the goal as enhancing data integrity and efficiency across the full trial lifecycle.
Medidata is a Dassault Systèmes company supplying the clinical-trial EDC and data platform (Rave) most sponsors and CROs already run live trials on, now with an AI layer built in.
This sits in the Ship stage of the AI use-case lifecycle: Named examples from the vendors pharma teams use to get an AI system live inside a real, regulated production workflow — validation, CRM, safety and clinical systems of record.
