Owkin and MSD piloted the MSIntuit CRC AI pre-screen at six European hospital sites.
Colorectal cancer patients need faster MSI status identification, and pathologists carry heavy workloads. The pilot evaluates MSIntuit CRC, a machine-learning digital pathology tool, in six hospitals across Germany, France and the UK, measuring time to diagnosis, workflow integration and therapeutic impact. The page says the tool is designed to enrich MSI-high patients at least two-fold; no pilot results are reported.
Owkin is a French AI company building biology models and the K Pro AI Scientist, working with pharma on drug positioning, trial design and pathology diagnostics.
This sits in the Ship stage of the AI use-case lifecycle: Named examples from the vendors pharma teams use to get an AI system live inside a real, regulated production workflow — validation, CRM, safety and clinical systems of record.
