Boehringer Ingelheim licensed K Pro and multimodal oncology and immunology patient data from Owkin.
Boehringer wanted to speed discovery across oncology and immunology indications. Owkin licensed K Pro together with multimodal patient data, following a 2025 pilot that gave spatial insight into the tumour microenvironment of a gene target using the MOSAIC dataset. No quantitative results are stated.
Owkin is a French AI company building biology models and the K Pro AI Scientist, working with pharma on drug positioning, trial design and pathology diagnostics.
This sits in the Data Providers stage of the AI use-case lifecycle: Named examples from the real-world-data, claims and competitive-intelligence providers pharma AI systems are trained on, benchmarked against, or run inside of.
