HealthVerity data strengthens regulatory submissions and clinical trials

Novo NordiskData ProvidersHealthVerityIdentity Manager

Novo Nordisk's SEPRA trial (NCT03596450) used HealthVerity's Identity Manager to convert 1,278 trial participants into privacy-preserving HVID tokens and match them to HealthVerity Marketplace real-world claims data. 87% of participants were successfully tokenized, 49.5% had medical or pharmacy claims available, and 633 participants matched to claims data showed baseline characteristics similar to the overall trial population; Identity Manager achieved about 0.2% false positives and 3-5% false negatives versus 1-3% false positives and 9-42% false negatives for legacy linkage methods. The linkage let researchers confirm the trial population mirrored real-world patients and strengthened external validity for regulatory submissions.

HealthVerity is a real-world-data marketplace aggregating claims, EHR and lab data from 75+ sources via a proprietary patient-matching layer.

This sits in the Data Providers stage of the AI use-case lifecycle: Named examples from the real-world-data, claims and competitive-intelligence providers pharma AI systems are trained on, benchmarked against, or run inside of.
